This home in the city of Fredericksburg was challenged with a steep, sloped lot, with a confined space and difficult access. We were able to design a swimming pool and hardscape to fit the nooks and crannies of their property, and allow for the space required for engineered retaining walls, that conquer these steep slopes and allow for an inground swimming pool. Grade changes included excavating under an existing low deck, to expand patio space in an area otherwise unusable area. Small changes have big impacts on projects where things are so tight. Involving a good designer really makes the difference in projects like this.
